The role focuses on developing intelligent automation solutions integrated with engineering workflows and tools such as JIRA, GIT, and software development platforms. The candidate will work closely with engineering and SQA teams to streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Job Description

As an AI Engineer – SQA Productivity & Automation, you will be responsible for building AI-based tools, automation workflows, and intelligent agents that improve engineering productivity and operational effectiveness within the SQA organization.

You will work on identifying repetitive tasks, workflow bottlenecks, and reporting challenges, and implement scalable AI-driven solutions to address them. The role requires strong software development fundamentals, an automation mindset, and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement AI-driven solutions to improve SQA team productivity and efficiency
• Develop intelligent automation workflows integrated with tools such as JIRA, GIT, and internal engineering platforms
• Build AI agents and automation systems for notifications, reporting, workflow tracking, and process optimization
• Analyze engineering workflows and identify opportunities for automation and AI enablement
• Generate dashboards and reports for tracking project metrics, overdue tasks, and workflow efficiency
• Collaborate with development, SQA, and engineering teams to understand operational pain points and deliver scalable solutions
• Contribute to internal tooling, process improvements, and automation initiatives across teams
• Maintain documentation and ensure the reliability and scalability of developed solutions

Technical Skills (Must Have)

• Good understanding of software development processes
• Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GIT, and software engineering workflows
• Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and automation techniques
• Strong problem-solving and logical reasoning skills
• Knowledge of scripting or programming languages such as Python
• Understanding of APIs, workflow automation, and integration concepts

Good to Have

• Exposure to Generative AI or AI-based productivity tools
• Experience with workflow automation platforms and reporting tools
• Knowledge of software testing lifecycle and engineering processes
• Experience working with dashboards, analytics, or monitoring systems
