Automotive Grade Linux (AGL) is a collaborative open source project that is bringing together automakers, suppliers and technology companies to accelerate the development and adoption of a fully open software stack for the connected car.

With Linux at its core, AGL is developing an open platform from the ground up that can serve as the de facto industry standard to enable rapid development of new features and technologies.

It plans to address all the various software in an automobile ranging across

  • Infotainment
  • Instrument Cluster
  • Telematics/Connectivity
  • Heads-up Display (HUD)
  • Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
  • Functional Safety
  • Autonomous Driving

You can find more about it here : https://www.automotivelinux.org

At Vayavya we have been tracking AGL’s development and progress for sometime now. Today we provide services around

  • Board-bring up
  • Porting
  • Customising

Please do write to us at [email protected] to understand how we can help you with AGL and it’s adoption in your requirements.
