Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of software development experience.

Responsibility:

• Design and implementation of software.
• Integrating software into a product stack.
• Control of source code changes and archiving.
• Documentation of code.
• Carry out all module testing of code generated prior to release to software testing engineer for independent analysis.
• Conduct peer to peer review of code generated by other software engineers.

Mandatory and preferable skills:

• Efficient code writing to ensure responsive application action across varied machines.
• Production of high reliability code to be used in large quantity production runs of the finished product.
• Expert in C
• Demonstrable experience in the creation of embedded software.
• Good communicational and interpersonal skills.
• Thorough understanding of the use of the development environment for embedded software.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• The ability to solve problems in a systematic and mature manner.
• Background in STB/DTV and RTOS
• Build scripting/makefile
• Debugging capability -> from the build errors to the platform errors
• Configuration management knowledge
• Analytical ability and able to track and get the things/changes done ( e.g. getting the fixes etc..) from the development teams.

Windows Device Driver Engineer

Number of openings: 4.
Qualification required/desired: (a) B.E (E & C) (b) Very good in oral and written communication skills (c) Must possess great interpersonal skills (d) Good Analytical and reasoning skills.
Experience: 4 – 6 years.
Development environment: Windows
Brief description:
The candidate will be responsible for Windows Device Driver Development, Debugging and Troubleshooting. Work environment is one of world’s best with Top MNC client.

Key skills: device driver development, device driver testing, device driver integration, Knowledge/experience of WDM (Windows Driver Model),WDF (Windows driver framework)and WDDM (Windows display driver Model).

Mandatory and preferable skills:

• Very good Knowledge of Device Drivers on any OS.
• Excellent understanding and expertise of Device drivers on Windows is needed.
• Highly Preferable – Knowledge of Windows Device Driver Model
• Preferable – Knowledge of Audio/Video
• Preferable – Knowledge of Graphics/GDI
• Preferred knowledge in Multimedia/Graphics

STB / DTV Professionals:

Qualification: BE/BS or ME/MS
